Easy UPCs & retails

Ever needed a simple tag with a just UPC on it? Maybe with some extra product data? Something like this:

Or a retail list for one of your customers, like this:

Send an Excel file to excel+upc@tagify.com and you'll get a PDF with your UPCs back. Use this sample to check it out. No need to set anything up, Tagify will use the data in your sheet.

Prepping your sheet​

First, make sure your Excel (XLS/XLSX) sheet has a column labeled UPC somewhere.

Tagify can also use these optional columns:

  • Brand
  • Package
  • Item # (or Item ID, Product ID, ID, Item)
  • Supplier
  • Description
  • Price

Depending on your sheet name (details below), Tagify will display optional column data below (or to the left on wider tags) the UPC or a letter size list.

Sheet name​

Name your sheet with the Tagify tag material you want the tags to go on. For instance, I wanted to use Long 18 here:

Notice my sheet (tab on the bottom) is Long 18.

If you want a retail list, you'd use a sheet name with Letter. This tells Tagify to use the Retails style of "tag".
