Limiting brands & signs
Sometimes you might want certain users to only see specific brands or signs. Tagify makes this easy to do with the Brand filters and Sign filters settings while editing a user.
Limiting brands
While editing a user check out the Extras tab. You'll see a setting called Brand filters that allows you to limit the brands that a user can see. This uses your individual brands labels to filter those brands.
Note that this includes the brands signs as well. So if your user is limited to 3 brands, they will only see the signs for those 3 brands.
Example
Let's say I've got a user named Jimmy. Jimmy only works with NA brands, so I want to make his Tagify time easier by only showing him the brands/signs he needs to see.
First, I'll edit my NA brands and add a label called "NA" to each of them. If I've got a lot of NA brands, it might be easier to make a bunch of changes at once.
Then, I'll edit Jimmy's Brand filters setting and select the "NA" label. Hit Save and now Jimmy will only see the brands (and those brands signs) that have the "NA" label!
Limiting signs
While editing a user check out the Extras tab. You'll see a setting called Sign filters that allows you to limit the signs that a user can see. This uses your individual signs labels to filter those signs.
Example
Let's say I've got a user named Kim who's out of our Albuquerque location. I've got signs sprinkled around my brands and those are the only ones I want her to use.
First, I'll edit my signs and add a label called "ABQ" to each of them. If I've got a lot of ABQ signs, it might be easier to make a bunch of changes at once.
Then, I'll edit Kim's Sign filters setting and select the "ABQ" label. Hit Save and now Kim will only see the signs that have the "ABQ" label!
